Renfrew Wolves Announce Tal Stevenson as Team Captain to Lead a New Path Forward
Renfrew, ON – Dec 12, 2024– The Renfrew Wolves Jr. A Hockey Club is proud to announce that Tal Stevenson, a talented local player, has been named Team Captain for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season. A native of Renfrew, Stevenson has consistently demonstrated dedication, leadership, and passion both on and off the ice, making him the ideal choice to help guide the Wolves as they look to change course and forge a stronger path ahead.
Despite a challenging season, Stevenson’s performance has stood out. In 24 games, he has recorded 12 goals and 14 assists for 26 points, proving to be a key contributor to the team. His tireless effort, positive attitude, and commitment to the Wolves and the Renfrew community make him the right leader to inspire a turnaround.
“It’s a huge honour to be named captain of the Wolves,” said Tal Stevenson. “I grew up in the area, and being able to lead the wolves means everything to me. We know where we are in the standings, but this team has heart, and we’re ready to fight to turn things around for our fans and our community.”
Head Coach Jason Gould expressed confidence in Stevenson’s ability to lead the team through adversity: “Tal’s work ethic and determination are unmatched. He’s the type of player who never gives up, and I believe his leadership will set the tone for the rest of the season.”
