FINAL SCORE: Wolves 6 – Canadians 1
Pink the Rink 2025 | MyFM Centre Recreation Complex | October 18
What. A. Night.
Your Renfrew Wolves rolled to a 6–1 victory over the Carleton Place Canadians on a night filled with heart, hope, and hometown pride.
Avila and Arango struck early in the first, Dzieciol, Glover, and DeFazio added three more in the second, and Harris finished the job in the third. Osipenko was steady in goal, stopping 26 of 27 shots to secure the win.
But the biggest victory came off the ice. A sea of pink filled the MyFM Centre for our annual Pink the Rink night, raising funds for the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation (RVH).
Before puck drop, fans were treated to a heartfelt ceremonial puck drop featuring Sarah, a beloved RCI teacher and hockey mom courageously fighting breast cancer, joined by Patti Dillabough (Executive Director, RVH Foundation) and Jesse Winchester (CCHL Commissioner and former Ottawa Senator), along with his daughters.
Our Future Wolves, Georgie and Gray, led the team onto the ice — reminding us that the next generation of Wolves is full of heart, passion, and promise.A big thank-you as well to Minor Hockey for running the 50/50 and Chuck-a-Puck this weekend — another great example of how our community partnerships make every Wolves game matter. Supporting local initiatives and giving back is a pillar of the Wolves organization.
Throughout the night, fans supported the cause through merch sales, donations, and our Pink Jersey Auction, which remains open until November 2.
Some jerseys are still looking for bids — don’t miss your chance to grab a piece of this special night while supporting local healthcare! Keep bidding here: www.tinyurl.com/wolvespink
Every dollar raised stays right here in our community, helping the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation continue to provide exceptional care close to home.
Thank you, Wolves fans, sponsors, and volunteers — you made Pink the Rink 2025 a night to remember.
