Wolves Acquire Local Player Brendan Hill from CP Canadians!

The entire Wolves organization is extremely happy to announce the acquisition of Renfrew local Brendan Hill from the Carleton Place Canadians!

The 19 year old forward stands at 6 foot and 190 pounds, and will add size, skill and leadership to our new program. Hill spent the last several seasons in the Canadians organization, starting at the U18 level in 2016-17, before captaining the U18s the following season. After graduating from minor hockey, Brendan stepped into a vital role with the Canadians Jr. B affiliate, where he amassed 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points in only 42 games.

Last season he made the jump to the Jr. A level with the Canadians, where he put up 2 goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 44 games.

Coach Leonard is thrilled to be adding a player like Hill to the program, saying “Brendan is going to bring a lot to our lineup. He’s a big body with a high level of skill and great leadership qualities. He’s going to make us just that much deeper up front”.

Leonard also emphasized how important it is to be adding another local player to the team by stating, “Adding a player like Hill, who lives just steps away from the Ma-Te-Way Arena, is great for us and for the community as a whole. The entire Ottawa Valley and Renfrew County in particular is home to a ton of talented players, and it’s very important to us that we can develop locally when we can”.

Please join us in welcoming Brendan Hill to the Wolves!
