Wolves Add First Round Pick Bujold to Squad!

The Renfrew Wolves are very excited to be adding Kanata U18AAA grad and London Knights first round pick Ben Bujold to our program.

Due to the OHL start date being pushed back, we have been given permission by Mark Hunter and the Knights to have Ben join us until the Knights start up in early February.

The 2004 born Richmond native was a standout last year for the Lasers U18 posting 18 goals and 37 assists for 55 points in only 43 games as a 15 year old. He was also featured in 4 games for the Junior A team, in which he tallied an assist.

The 6’0, 175 pound forward was a highly touted prospect in the 2020 OHL draft, and was quickly selected in the first round, 19th overall by the historic London Knights franchise.

Ben is no stranger to Renfrew, saying “My family is all from Renfrew so I’ve been up there quite a bit and love the town, and my dad actually played for the Renfrew Timberwolves back in the day, so it’s pretty cool to be playing on a team he used to!”

Coach Leonard was also excited about adding a player of Ben’s caliber to our group saying, “Any time you can add a player like Ben to your program its a real bonus. As much as our program prides itself on winning, we also put a huge emphasis on developing players and helping them get to the next level, and we’re excited to be able to help Ben do that.”

Please join us in welcoming Ben to Renfrew!
