Wolves Acquire White and Miles

More trade news coming out of Renfrew as the Wolves have acquired the rights to 20 year old forwards Mackenzie White and Jack Miles from the Ottawa Junior Senators and Rockland Nationals in exchange for goalie J.P. Tourigny and the rights to Felix Tourigny.

The 3-way trade will see White traded to Rockland before he and Miles are traded to Renfrew for the Tourigny brothers.

Both Miles and White are experienced CCHL players who will serve as big additions to our lineup.

Mackenzie White has been a bit of a journeyman in Junior A, having stints in Nepean, Kanata, Smiths Falls and OJS in the CCHL as well as with the former Kingston Voyageurs in the OJHL. In 94 CCHL appearances White has 8G & 27A for 35 points, 21 of which came in a breakout season last year with the Ottawa Junior Senators. White plays a high energy style of hockey and will be a valuable asset at both ends of the ice.

Jack Miles is no stranger to CCHL action either, seeing 119 games over the past 3 seasons between Nepean and Rockland. In 102 games with the Raiders, Miles put up 12G & 15A for 27 points, before being traded to the Nationals at this years trade deadline. In Rockland Miles flourished, scoring 6 times and adding 5 assists for 11 points in just 17 games.

Help us welcome these two great additions to the Wolves family!
