Greg Sharpe Hired as Wolves U18AAA Head Coach

The Renfrew Wolves are extremely excited to announce the hiring of Greg Sharpe as the Head Coach of our U18AAA program for the 2020-2021 season.

Greg has been coaching minor hockey since 2011 and has been scouting in the CCHL since 2017, where his experience was instrumental in our most recent Bantam Draft. Most recently, he spent the last three seasons as a head coach for the Myers AAA Minor and Major Bantams. During the off season Greg runs skills clinics for OHL, Junior A and several of the top U18 players in the city.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Greg now resides just outside of the city with his fiancĂ©e. When he’s not at the rink, Greg enjoys skiing, golfing and spending time at the lake with family and friends.

When asked, Renfrew Wolves Owner, Head Coach and General Manager said about Sharpe: “I am excited to add a young, energetic hockey guy who lives and breathes the game. That is what we want to build our foundation on, is hockey guys like that!”

Sharpe will have big shoes to fill, taking over the top team in the HEO U18AAA league. The Wolves (formerly Lasers), finished with a 32-9-4 record, before finishing off the year by winning the League Championship Tournament.

Please join the entire Wolves organization in welcoming Greg to our team!
