Wolves Acquire Jesse Dick from Pembroke

The Wolves announced Monday that they have acquired veteran forward Jesse Dick from the Pembroke Lumber Kings in exchange for Timberwolves forward Zach Martin.

The 2001 forward from Arnprior has spent the better part of the last two seasons in the CCHL, split between the Kemptville 73’s and most recently the Pembroke Lumber Kings. Jesse made a brief stop in the OHL playing a chunk of games for the Ottawa 67’s. In 88 CCHL games, Dick has racked up 20G & 32A for 52 points.

Coach Leonard is very happy with the trade saying: “We were happy to be able to get a player like Jesse into our program. He’s a player who needed a bit of a fresh start and being able to have him do that so close to home is great for both our team and his family. We’re going to be looking to Jesse to carry some responsibilities as he’s one of our older and more experienced players, and has also spent some time at the Major Junior level.”
